Harvey Weinstein underwent emergency heart surgery in New York after experiencing chest pains while in jail. Weinstein’s representatives confirmed the surgery, stating that he has ongoing health issues needing treatment.

Kathy Bates, 76, says Matlock will be her “last dance” as an actor. She contemplated retirement but found renewed passion in the script. She plays Madeline Matlock in the reboot of the Andy Griffith series that ran from 1986-1995.

Univision News anchor Jorge Ramos is leaving the network after 40 years. He will continue anchoring until December and then share his future plans. Both parties mutually decided to part ways allegedly due to financial terms.

Pax Jolie-Pitt, son of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, made his first appearance since a serious bike crash in July at the Toronto International Film Festival for the premiere of Jolie’s film Without Blood, which she wrote and directed.

John Mulaney will return to Broadway to star in Simon Rich’s play All In: Comedy About Love, based on Rich’s New Yorker short stories. The show explores dating, marriage, and relationships, and runs starting December 11th.

Billy McFarland announced Fyre Festival 2 in spring 2025 on a private island off Mexico. Promising a luxury experience, he aims for 3,000 attendees with tickets from $1,400 to $1.1 million. No performers have been confirmed.

Nate Bargatze will host a holiday variety special on CBS in December. Taped at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville on Nov. 21, the special will feature stand-up, comedy shorts, sketches, and musical performances. The date is still TBA.
