Kelsea Ballerini Scores Her First No. 1 On Top Country Albums Chart With ‘Patterns’

Kelsea Ballerini has notched her first No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, with Patterns debuting at the top of the list. Ballerini’s record moved 54,000 units in the U.S., which is a new weekly best for the country music star. Patterns also debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 album chart, becoming Ballerini’s second Top 10 of her career as well as her highest charting record, surpassing the No. 7 peak for Unapologetically back in November of 2017. Patterns chart positions was buoyed by an impressive amount of vinyl sales, due to eight vinyl variants being available to customers, including one signed edition. Ballerini’s vinyl sales totaled 12,000 for the week, her best sales week ever on vinyl. The LP’s first single, “Cowboys Cry Too,” with Noah Kahan, debuted at No. 16 on the Hot Country Songs chart, and currently sits at  No. 24 on the list. (Billboard)
