Patsy Cline’s Estate Books Licensing Deal To Expand Country Star’s Media Presence

Patsy Cline’s estate has signed a deal with Sandbox Succession to help expand the country legend’s reach in media and licensing. Sandbox Succession is the legacy division of Sandbox Entertainment, which in recent years has made creative arrangements with the estates of Johnny Cash, June Carter Cash, and Loretta Lynn. Julie Fudge, Cline’s daughter and heir who represents Patsy Cline Enterprises, said the estate plans to work with Sandbox to advance her mother’s musical presence in media outlets like film and TV, along with expanding Cline’s publishing and licensing rights in the hospitality and merchandising industries. Fudge says “we are in good company” in a statement about the new partnership. “On behalf of PCE and my brothers Randy and Charlies, Jr., we are pleased and proud to be with Sandbox Succession for this exciting next step in the continued expansion and promotion of the global legacy of all things Patsy Cline.” (Variety
