Ariana Grande Breaks Her Silence About ‘Quiet On Set’ Docuseries

Ariana Grande opened up about the allegations made by former Nickelodeon stars in the docuseries Quiet On Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TV. During an appearance on the Podcrushed podcast, Grande reflected on her time playing Cat Valentine on the sets of Victorious and Sam & Cat. “I’ve been reprocessing a lot of what the experience was like,” she said. “I think that the environment needs to be made safer if kids are going to be acting, and I think there should be therapists. I think there should be parents allowed to be wherever they wanna be.”

Grande is also having second thoughts about some of the adult humor on the show. “We were convinced [that] was the cool thing about [Victorious]: We pushed the envelope with our humor, the innuendos,” she said. “It just all happened so quickly, and now looking back on some of the clips, I’m like, ‘Damn, really?’” (Billboard)
