Columbus City offices closing Thursday for employee event

All Columbus City offices will be closing Thursday for two hours while employees enjoy a city picnic.

That will be from 11 to 1 at the Evolution Training Center at the airport. The city is announcing that a quorum of the City Council members are planning to attend the event but council will not be in session and no official business will be conducted.
