Seymour Oktoberfest gets into full swing today
Oktoberfest is getting underway in downtown Seymour.
Activities for the 51st annual festival get into full swing today with opening ceremonies, the prince and princess contest and festival awards starting at the bandstand at 5:30 today. Activities are going on from 11 to 11 each day through Saturday. Those include food, entertainment, arts and crafts booths and the biergarten sponsored by the Knights of Columbus.
Entertainment tonight includes the Southern Indiana Taiko, Bluegrass Music, and the Schulhaus 4+3 German Band. The headliner tonight is Hank Ruff country music at 8.
A shuttle will be running from 4 to 11:15 p.m. every day with parking at Seymour High School.
