Ryan Reynolds Pulls Epic ‘Titanic’-Themed Prank For Rob McElhenney’s Birthday

Ryan Reynolds celebrated his friend and Wrexham AFC co-owner Rob McElhenney’s birthday with a hilarious prank video inspired by the movie Titanic. In the video, Reynolds jokingly claimed to finance an expedition to retrieve Wrexham Lager from the Titanic wreckage, referencing a beer brand that was served on the voyage in 1912. But the actor instead unveiled an impressive hand-drawn portrait of McElhenney in the style of Kate Winslet’s character. The portrait depicts McElhenney shirtless, wearing a Wrexham team logo pendant in place of the Heart Of The Ocean necklace. Reynolds encouraged fans to send birthday wishes to McElhenney and announced that the drawing would be displayed in an art museum in Wrexham, and available on merchandise via Vistaprint. This prank is part of an ongoing series of escalating pranks between the two friends.
